I am writing this from Milan....The performance we saw tonight was a complete disgrace, the Arsenal players and manager should all apologise to the fans, we made our way all the way to milan, then getting to the San Siro etc just to witness that pitiful disgrace of a performance? Every facet of our game was bad, the defence was terrible, the midfield was terrible, the attack was woeful, and even our goalkeeping was miserable. And on top of all of that, there was zero leadership, zero motivation, zero drive, no nothing. The players never showed up, you would think that on a night like this they would be up for it, but not with this Arsenal team filled with a very weak mentality. But once again the buck stops with Wenger, today's game summarises how woeful we have been all season, and it's down to him, tonight's result is another display of why it's time for Wenger to go at the end of the season, a new fresh start is needed, he has taken us as far as he can and he should be man enough to realise it. His might project came to yet another heavy destruction tonight in the form of Milan who played with flair and a great attacking display, compared to us, who were woeful, I mean did we even have any tactics coming into this game? On the face of it seems not. Anyways, I won't call it a wasted trip, I'd do it all over again, it's a great experiance to come to the San Siro and watch Milan as well as visiting the city of Milan all for your football team, sadly the same passion isn't shared by these divas we have whom we call players, let's face it, that's what they are, divas, on today's pitch we didn't witness 11 men who really wanted it. It was a disgrace, pure and simple, none of them deserved to wear the Arsenal jersey tonight.
Toledo you are really starting to annoy me with your crap. Everyone is hurting, just leave us to lick our wounds and vent frustration you plank. How is 4-0 away in Italy NOT a disgrace for one of the biggest clubs in world football ? Spurs beat them away last season.
Sorry HotHead but Arsenal on this seasons form are nowhere near "one of the biggest clubs in world football". I know you are raw from the defeat and reading this won't help but take RvP out of your side and it's a very average team. I'd say worthy of a 5th-8th place finish in the Prem. I'd put your first XI on a par with Newcastle's. Your squad might be stronger than theirs but on the basis of first XI, they are about on a par. The only difference is you have RVP and Wilshere (who is constantly injured).
Arsenal87 went to the game - he is in a far better position to judge whether the players actually put the effort in (something you can get a sense of on TV, but is blatantly obvious when watching the game and being able to see the whole pitch). So the disgrace is the lack of effort. The result was just the consequence of a disgraceful performance - one that the club should explain and apologise for.
You make my point for me Arsenal ARE one of the biggest clubs in the world .. and now look at what we are becoming. We have one of the best stadiums in the world and have a lot of clout - we were in the G14 of clubs, make no mistake Arsenal ARE one of the biggest clubs in the world.
this was a very poor performance indeed. i think you need the shrews down at the emirates again to restart your season. floreat salopia, amwythig am byth. our young irish international jamie collins has started scoring again as he did at the emirates. we only charge 2.5 million for a corrective game of football. good luck in the league you may bounce back. excuse the invasion, just being helpful
