Can someone tell me why our home game with Arsenal has been changed from Tues March 3rd to Wed March 4th, considering that our home game with Spurs is now on Sat 7th March? Thus giving us 24 hours less recovery time between games!!
When do tickets go on sale? I am travelling over for this match and if anyone has a spare ticket that they are looking to shift, PM me.
No idea col & I didn't know it had been changed. I've made that mistake before & got train tickets for the wrong day! My guess is that Arsenal are on tele on the Sunday.
In Saturday's programme it is listed as Wed 4th March and on the club site too. Makes no sense to me.
They moved if before Spurs had got to the League Cup final. If Sheff Utd had beaten Spurs then it would have been Spurs on Sunday March 1st, because Spurs are playing in Europa League the Thursday before. We wouldn't want to play Sunday and then Arsenal Tuesday. Cup games. Not something we have to worry about for long.
No idea Col but probably because Arsenal are a team that matters and we are not.....plus it just happens to be the 48th anniversary of our glorious League Cup win at Wembley......
The fixture has been changed for some time then Col. I took a screen shot of our fixtures in early December so that I could plan this years leave to enable me to at least get to the home games. It is showing as March 4th from back then. Could be a good omen as that's the date when we won the league cup final. It's good news for me anyway as I'm on nights on the 3rd but off on the 4th.
