Following this through twitter and it sound very lively. Wenger has not said anything yet, just Ivan and Silent Stan. Akhil with Q1: "Will the board consider freezing prices as other revenues increase?" Gazidis says ticket pricing is not simply a case of supply and demand. Cites waiting list. Says they aim for a "responsible balance". Gazidis: "Over the past 7 seasons we've only had two increases [in ticket prices], both in line with inflation. PHW: "We undertake our transfer policy for football reasons, not to comply with FFP. Gazidis: "We certainly do make the money that we have available to reinvest in the team. Gazidis: "...that doesn't mean that in every window we spend every penny we have." Gazidis: "Often youâre faced with the choice to buy someone whoâs not top quality or to keep your powder dry [and wait for next window]..." Oh dear. Kroenke has refused to guarantee that no dividends will be paid in coming years. Says it's a board decision. Gazidis: "Dividends are a board decision, and we have a record of reinvesting in the club... Kroenke has always followed that approach."
Oh dear. Tim Payton (AST) asking Stan about the meeting they were supposed to have have but he says he did meet them, which they deny.
Fair play Arsene, he clearly has an actual emotive attachment to the Club. Today he's upset. This is a time to lambast Gazidis and The Board, and perhaps for Wenger to take stock of how much he needs to improve the team. If the money is available, this should show him he needs to spend it. The supporters are unhappy, and getting unhappier.
