ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger wants Sunderland star Stephane Sessegnon as part of his summer rebuilding plans. Wenger is rethinking his approach at the Emirates in the wake of the humiliating 4-0 defeat by AC Milan in midweek. And that will mean a summer delve into the transfer market to bolster his squad with Premier League experience. Sessegnon, 27, has impressed boss Martin OâNeill, who has described him as âessentialâ to his plans at the Stadium of Light . The Benin ace has scored nine goals in nearly 40 games for the Black Cats since a £6million switch from Paris Saint-Germain. His arrival could prompt the sale of underachieving England winger Theo Walcott, 22 I know its the Star, but after yesterday who would want to play in a team with no spirit or fight? No doubt we will be getting these stories all the time now. A sign of success I supose.
I highly doubt it; next season if they lost RVP & don't get champions league we'll be around the same level as them.
Sessegnon is that good he is bordering the expression "Money cannot buy this". I have a feeling that Sessegnon may wish to stay with Sunderland. There are few men who are inspirational enough to provide the motivation to stay at a club excluding perhaps Sir Alex Ferguson and Martin O'Neill. Fortunately we have Martin O'Neill as our manager! If Sessegnon decides that he is ready to move on and lets face it, he is going to have just as much of a chance of champions league football here as anywhere next season then let the bidding start at £45 million.
