Our noisy neighbours down the M27 believe they have the beating of the Gunners on New Years day. They feel you are inconsistent especially away from home, have a poor defence and that in particular Newcastle allowed your team to score so many goals because they were unfit. Today, 08:54 AM #28 lamballana Senior Member We can beat Arsenal. They have shown that they are inconsistent. We just need to stop them bossing midfield as Newcastle did very well in the first half yesterday before they tired. Have to believe. If Norwich can do it so can we! They feel if they give Walcott and Oxlade Chamberlain in particular( two ex players of course) a good kicking they will not play to their ability and allow the Pony Fiddling Scummers to beat what they generally consider to be a poor Arsenal side. What are your thoughts lads?
I'll have a hang over so will sit quietly (maybe) in front of the tv and a good win over those Sunderland wannabes will be just what I need. I predict an Arsenal win by 1 or 2 goals.
I could not agree more lads Please go and give their arrogant, holier than thou arses a good kicking!
A) SB3 is a Porstmouth WUM B) Very few of us think we'll get anything C) He didn't say we will win, he said we could if we control the midfield, which is true for practically every game D) You have been inconsistent E) The final point he obviously made up as there is no quote for it Overall,
We have been pretty good recently, losing only one of our last 8 games or something. Let's just say I don't expect a repeat of the 6-1 scoreline in September.
If ming put half as much effort in pompey than the saints, they might well have more than 500 people turning up on match days. Piss-ant.
We are always poor when the opponents press us on the field. We don't have a courage to fight. We lack of physical presence. Also need to impose ourselves offensively and defensively. Need to press the opponents more high up the pitch and DO not let them on to us!
