HARRY REDKNAPP wants Liverpool to stump up £5.5m to let Joe Cole join QPR next month.

This In the Star (yes I know) but as much as cole has been a disappointment no way would I want us to pay him to leave. In fact he should be paying us to let him go as compensation for taking money under false pretences

It seems Rednapp wants him for nothing and we pay up his contract. What is the point, even if we do not play him as a regular starter he is handy to have to rest players in euro games and if we have a spate of injuries.

Send him on loan again with them paying part of his wages this would be the best option if we can't sell him.

  6. Whats the point in paying up an amount we would have to pay him anyway? May as well keep him on the books and have his services available as a last resort... It would cost us exactly the same!

lets just go do the match here. cole signed a 4 year deal in 2010. he is going to be 2.5 years into that effectively. 1.5 years x 90k per week = 7mil or so in wages.

now lets bloody face it appy arry will only pay him 30k per week max or something. so 1.5 years x 60k = 4.68mil.

So if you beleive this 5.5mil rubbish effectively joe cole will make a huge profit o nthe deal so i say screw you joe cole! I'd offer him 2-3mil max to get the F out of town.

I'd love to see him gone personally... did you see him score that goal v young boys and pop a hammy getting there? he just can't cut it so let him fail to cut it elsewhere.
