    Very surprised at this.

I think, and it showed when he was on the tele the other day, that he was gutted not to get the England job which was as good as his. Since then they went from title challengers to not getting Champions League. That period did for him.

Surely will go for Moyes now - compensation already being discussed apparently. Perhaps a job swap?

    Wow, very strange indeed.

If anything, I thought Redknapp had walked due to his contract.

I think the only explanation is that Levy, with Spurs out of the CL and probably having to rebuild, as Harry isn't getting any younger, he wanted to follow the fashion of getting a young, up and coming manager. Either that or the fact he admitted he would have left if England came calling?

    According to the bookies odds

David Moyes is new Spurs boss
Roberto Martinez is new Everton manager

I think Hull will immediately sack Bruce and install Redknapp and aim for the Champions league. I'm sending my season ticket back and buying a Hull shirt, I've had enough of our under achieving and want 'Galactico' players <whistle>

Agree ... surely must be far more to this than meets the eye . he actually got them into a Champions League spot at a club with gates of under 40,000 -no mean feat that... and was only robbed by Chelski having an amazing run of luck to win the CL when you consider how they were outplayed in both the semi and the final ... wonder if there are any more 'legal' skeletons in the cupboard?

Mauled by the 'Tiggers' more suits the hand gestures .... we ought to start a '****** by the Foxes' comparative next season ... but I'm not sure that all seater stadiums necessarily make for easy facilitation of accompanying physical gesture ..

Sounds like a player situation, 1 year left, dont agree on a new contract, so "sold".

Although harry walked away by the sounds of it, so Spurs dont haveto pay any compo.

As I understand it and reading between the lines the England job went to Roy Hodgson partly because Spurs were going to demand £10m compensation.
Now they have the cheek to sack him so why didnt they offer him for free?
Sacked because he failed to get into the champions league---If they were as important as they think they are they would be world beaters instead of wannabes
