Kamara reminds me of Mumba at Plymouth last season but I'm pretty sure he will be back at C R next season
Dan Barden has signed a new 2 year deal. Personally a bit suprised by this one as we haven’t heard much about him this season
Barden's name has come up from time to time but he's got a lot of competition from Reyes, McCracken and others.
Just 3 PL2 games this season, and doesn't seem to have had a loan anywhere? Kinda surprising that he's played so few games if he's a prospect they're keen to hold onto. That said, he missed a lot of time with testicular cancer, so perhaps he's a little behind the curve despite being 23.
Yeah I was wondering if this is to see how he goes on loan next year, now that he is better and then make another assessment then
After watching the interview he says that he had an ACL injury this year which limited his game time and that the plan is for a season long loan next season to get game time and see what happens from there
According to the Pinkun, he's currently considered to be our 3rd GK, but that may be because others are out on loan.

If we don't go up I would look to sign the Irishman Liam Scales from Celtic as a replacement for Gibson. He is 25, played well for Celtic this year, left footed, one year left on a 5k/week contract. He would need to improve with his passing as he seems limited from what I have gleaned, but I think we could either get him as a part exchange for Idah or for a reasonably low fee. We could triple his wages and he would still be on less than half Gibson is currently on. I would let Gibson and Baath go and have at least one of our youngsters currently out on loan as an option (assuming Handley can get back to full fitness to be around the first team squad).
Scales is left footed, which is a big advantage and he can also cover at LB or LM, which suggests he could be good for playing out from the back. Interesting option.
Good playing out from the back, but his passing ability is questionable. Sounds like a recipe for disaster.
I think his passing is good in terms of sideways or backwards, but doesn't progress it forward well. So I guess he makes a lot of his passes as he doesn't try anything ambitious
That's true, as most CB passes are relatively short range. Gibson's 'pass success ratio' is 87.5% and Scales' is 88.3%. We also need to take into account the opposition Celtic is facing.
Sorry to pooh-pooh, but he's only been in the first team due to injuries, played okay. But this is SPL, lower EC / league 1 level? Additionally, if he remains in Celtic's 1st team plans, why would he leave potential European football, for Norwich, especially if we don't go up?
