They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them
Absolutely Needs very clear and regular announcements over the PA in the lead up. Of course we all believe everyone should know what to do without the need for that, but they don’t (not all brought up as well as us)
Well, having read and re-read the information put out by the club a few times, I cannot see any mention of a period of silence. As you say, most people should be aware that it will be part of the "short ceremony", but others do seem to need it spelling out, which the club do not seem to have done
I agree I’m not even sure from their published info that there will be any silence at all. Poorly written
Just to highlight how complicated this is, the .gov.uk website states that the two minute silence ends with the bugler playing last post. The British legion state two minutes silence starts with the playing of last post (doesn't say it starts at the end of the playing of last post) and the silence ends with the playing of revelle. Should add the.gov. uk thing was about the service in Whitehall.

'When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say, For Your Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today.' lets hope everyone has read OLM's post above. It only takes a couple of idiots to start clapping and the whole thing is ruined
