Glad Rafa is gonna give the lad a chance to show what he can do.

Think with the Strikers at the club currently he will struggle for game time this year and would be better off going on loan but if he can prove his worth and put some pressure on the others it would be great to see another local striker coming through.

Would you keep him or loan him out this year?

Interesting that nearly 3/4 on the chronicle website would keep him.

Having read it more thoroughly sounds like he will be loaned out especially if we bring in another striker but who knows...only Rafa!

It will be down to him getting game time. If he is not going to get a lot of game time then its a problem. The other problem is we really need to see him at Championship level now, he needs progression. That is tricky for us. If there was a way of getting him some time on the continent in say Belgium or Holland then that would be of interest. Can't see that being that easy though. I'd keep him until we sign someone for sure. We need 4.

He's proved he can handle league 1, so needs to make the step up to championship now, and seeing as we're in it, the logical thing is for him to be on the bench as back up striker/secret weapon.

Should get enough games this way, and the chance to show whether he's up for it, but if we loan him out, it should be to someone like Huddersfield who won't be challenging for the title and will just be taking points off the teams who are.

Definitely keep him. Its the level he should be at now so he should be stepping up and proving hes worth persisting with. Rafa will I am sure be rotating players so he should get plenty of game time.

Rafa said tonight that he's like to loan him out but is keeping options open for now.
