    Excellent read. Good find Rebel.

What's most telling is the fact that Rangers fans and certain media clowns seemed to genuinely believe that the future and finances of Scottish football somehow rested solely on the shoulders of a financially crippled club.

The only thing I would disagree with is the notion that people changed the way they reveived and shared information this summer. I know the Celtic 'online community' has for a long time been well ahead of the curve in that respect. I suspect that we were not alone in that.

Who do you think the dancing journo with the Willy Wonka Moonbeam Invite was?

There's almost too many suspects but I might go with:

Great read, I liked this especially:

By the 1990s onwards, football journalism had ritualised and festered around the inner sanctums at Ibrox. This was an era where relevance meant being invited to a ‘presser’ at Murray Park, having Ally’s mobile or playing golf with ‘Juke Box,’ ‘Durranty’ or ‘Smudger’. Many journalists, showing a compliant lack of self-awareness, would use these nicknames as if conveyed closeness, familiarity or friendship. It is desperately sad that careers have been built on such paltry notions of access and such demeaning obsequiousness.

Rebel ,notice the Scottish press still enjoying Hearts problems even Mccoist having is say now , Rangers are looking at this as a way to get back to the top league. On Wednesday I broke the news Brown was out at 5 pm , well I was out and about last night and met and an ex Hearts director not concerned at all a guy Iain Gray is paying off the 400,000 debt himself

Rangers and Scottish media are loving Hearts problems , they see it as a way to get Rangers back into the big league quicker . Remember today as the armed forces march round Ibrox ,you never paid your taxes , denying them their wages !!!!

I don't know about "loving it" but McCoist has certainly used it as a means to sell the myth that Sevco are a continuation of Rangers.

"Our thoughts are with Hearts at the moment, we sympathise with them greatly, and we just hope that they can come out of it in a positive way like we have."

So is he saying that he hopes Hearts get liquidated? Liquidation is the end. Starting a new club and pretending it is the old one is not "positive" it is a myth.

Maybe some people are not loving it but oafs like Traynor are perpetrating the myth that Hearts are in trouble as a direct consequence of not letting Rangers into the SPL. Him and others are using it as a liferaft to salvage their predictions of financial armageddon.

Hearts have been in trouble for years, it's well known, perhaps Rangers demise was of some impact but I don't see how cataclysmic that could have been. They have yet to play Celtic, Hibs, Aberdeen and Dundee Utd at home so I don't understand why anyone would think reduced finances and poor turn outs have something to do with Rangers fall.

Trevor you must feel such a fool , Rangers owe Hearts 800,000 but have offered them 500,000 now , is that not Rangers loving the situation
