Top Story Cuellar tipped for Sunderland move 04:00 PM 13 December, 2011 Carlos Cuellar is expected to join Sunderland Football Club in January. The Spanish defender is in the final year of his contract at Aston Villa, who want to offload his salary from their wage bill when the window reopens. For this reason the Black Cats feel they can land the 30-year-old former Rangers star on a free transfer or, if it comes to it, just a minimal fee. Stadium of Light boss Martin OâNeill paid almost £7million for Cuellar during his time in charge of Villa, and he feels the player is still capable of cutting it in the Premier League. what do you think lads
Hmmm Not convinced....... even players of EA Sports FIFA 2012 dont rate him, as his popularity is 0.05% !!! Even Gary Caldwell of Wigan stardom reaches the dizzy heights of 0.38% popularity........... Surely this must count him out, even as a freebie Bosman, my lad plays FIFA 2012 a lot and even he says he's craapp !! So the moral of the story is............ do your scouting 1st on the latest FIFA updates available,.......... or better still Mr o'Neill ......let my lad do it for you !! Simplez
Was very good in the SPL and did okay in PL in his first season. Seems to have lost it a bit now though so would say no. p.s. Been saying about Samba for a year and a half now, think it was poolie who first pointed him out as good.
Not for me. This was the one player that Villa fans could not fathom the selection of. They had Luke Young who is a natural RB and yet MON always insisted on playing Cuellar who is really a CB. Out of all the players MON is likely to bring in Cuellar and Heskey are the 2 I really don't want.
