Hurrah for Sir Henry - some of us have been calling him that for a while on the old 606!

I wonder if Liz will show up at Ascot on Tuesday armed with a sword, so she can dub Sir Henry on the shoulders and save him the trip to Buck House as he is quite busy with his yard full of superstars at the moment.

Forty-two years in the business, twenty-five classic winners and counting. Could there be a more deserving case for recognition than this stalwart of the sport?

Congratulations, Henry!! It's long overdue, but better late than never, I suppose. It will never happen, but I would like Martin Pipe to be honoured in the same way. He revolutionized the way horses are trained, both in this country and abroad, and he dominated the sport of NH racing for nearly 20 years.
