Our Polish midfielder is well ahead of schedule after his injury, and is expected to return in 2 weeks and will resume full training on Monday. Some excellent news for us ahead of the big kick off !

Depends on what you mean by okay. If you mean no fear of relegation, I agree, we should be comfortably mid-table.

Robinson out with shin splints, which sounds like it could be a chronic condition, and typical of a 'too much, too soon' training regime. Still, what you've never had you can't miss. Mackie still in plaster, oh dear, how sad, never mind.

He's 23 in less than a month and made his first team debut at 16 for Liverpool. Since then a grand total of 89 first team appearances, 78 of them on loan at Wolves, Blackpool and Huddersfield. So it seems he is a bit fragile. Foot, groin, knee ligaments have kept him out for long periods in the past, now shins. But he does seem a pretty full blooded player when he does get on.

I've had shin-splints, and they're really painful, and without the proper medical treatment can lead to stress fractures.

Obviously, he's going to get the right treatment, and the physio to go with it, so shouldn't be out for too long, but it does seem he's a bit prone to injuries - good job we're over-run with quality defenders...<laugh> <laugh>
