Anyone else think there’s an issue between he and KR? I might have missed the pre match news but haven’t read Aribo was injured? If he wasn’t it’s sent a terrible message to someone in form.
Just what I was wondering. He didn't deserve to be dropped, then bringing on the 2 loanees before him didn't seem right, either for him or for the team. Not "The new Vieira" any more?
On the surface it doesn’t look right. It tells JFC, who is hugely inconsistent, that his place is near guaranteed. It tells Aribo that if you work hard and prove yourself.. you’ll still find yourself on the outside. I dread to think how many times he’s heard the “dele alli” story
Aribo has scored three goals recently. JFC is Robinson's favourite. He got very tetchy and defensive when Aribo's name was brought up saying that Kashi and JFC were the best players. Aribo should not have been dropped. Robinson is also naive in his ability to get the players to see out a game. How many times have we conceded in the last five minutes? I have seen the highlights on Valley Pass and each Oxford goal was preventable by more disciplined defending. Perhaps Robinson should employ Tony Adams as defence Coach.
Adams was a great player, but his feedback as a coach is terrible. Steve Brown for me - he wants a role at the club apparently. Well, he did. No idea if he’d want to work under RD.
Robinson was directly asked about why he had brought Forster-Caskey back in, and said he liked his ability to hit 60 yard diagonal passes. Aribo just needs 50 games and he will be a top midfield player. Certainly Championship level.
From the games I've seen, I think Robinson plays Aribo as a "number 10". He rarely plays him in central midfield anymore. As long as he prefers playing Fosu in the middle, we won't see much of him.
We do not have centre halves any more, we have somebody at number 5! The number 10 position, playing up top, blah blah blah.

I heard he holds it up well and often gets shown inside. Never goes down too easy, and usually strokes it home. Always gets a booking for over-celebrating afterwards though.
