Pointless exercise this game....neither side could go any further.....Argyle 11 changes.....goodness knows how many Newport did.

Good for Cooper to get some time...plus 2 goals....and Reeves scoring as well.

According to the Herald Cooper's first was an own goal. Not that it matters really.

Looked at the match video.....definately an own goal by Woodiwiss....so Cooper only scored one......and their keeper didn't look that good....the first goal somehow went straight through him.....with nothing at stake Newport changed nearly all their first team players like Argyle did....but they weren't able to fill their subs bench and were two short.
So a bit of game time for most of the squad is all that can be said about last night....injury free I hope....but even then Klaidi Lolos didn't get on the pitch.

Goodness me. We've given 3 youngsters their first team debuts. One of those got a shot on target within 1 minute of coming on. We've given a couple of seniors game time after they'd been out for a few weeks. We've won 3-1 against a team that are going gamgbusters in their own league. That comes after after a great 0-1 win at Charlton on Saturday. I think I'm right in saying we haven't lost at Home Park since New Years Day.

OK it's a rubbish competition we all hate but come on, what more can they do to please us?
