the irish gib consortium who are trying to buy argyle are still 4 million short and have extended their exclusivity clause to 31.8.11. peter risdale, argyle's acting chairman has said manager peter reid has the use of up to 20 players while in admin. i assume nobody is being paid until a deal is done. in the meantime the fans are getting restless and the galling thing is that there is a second consortium who have the money. it seems some of the gib based irish have deserted a sinking ship. the leader of this irish/gib outfit is a mr heaney chairman of truro f c and is therefore banned from being a director of argyle. mr guilfoyle the yorkshire based administrator is likely to have egg on his face soon if the irish/gib lot folds. argyle are hoping to bring 500/650 fans up on saturday. er floreat salopia!
