OK I'll put my hand up and admit that until recent postings I have NEVER heard of the above. PASOTI is a well established forum which has been going for years, I also know of: Vital Football, Argyle Insider and New 606. How did I miss ATD? Is it new or have I been blind? You lot all seem to know of it, do tell!

Mouldy gives a potted history of why ATD started........and what was before it...........I'm sure Mouldy could tell you more.......but it might depress you and BoBo of course.

 

And greenjock who has just returned to this fold.

 

Don't know how I missed mouldy's post, probably the mankini made me avert my eyes elsewhere.

Don't know why Greenjock left us to start with tbh. As I said previously, I think some people found it too cozy or maybe they didn't like having a femail mod. No excuses now then eh?

Why would being a Mod and female be a problem for anyone????? I don't think so Mrs lalala. Some people like to share their opinions around, mostly females, and post on numerous sites is all. Some sites are more used than others and therefore attract more of their time than others.

 

I honestly don't know sensible, they say women are hard to figure out but men............

 

Only found out last week about ATD from this site. I think its quite good with a good easy to use format,as intended its not up its own ass like PASOTI and have put a couple of threads on and got a good response.

 

The bit I do not like about ATD is the politics of it and the bickering with PASOTI all of the time. Why they can't just draw a line under previous and get on with being seperate forums I have no idea. It's more like the corridors of Parliament than football chat. However, one does seem able to express a view without it being wipped off because it offends somebodies sensibilities.

 

The basic tennent of ATD is being anti Chris Webb and Ian Newall.Agree there is a bickering element but as you say one can post fairly freely to clearly quite passionate other Argyle supporters.

 

Being anti Chris Webb and even anti Ian Newell (who might deserve it) is just a negative approach to being an Argyle supporter..........they just need to sort themselves out and get back to supporting on field activity.
