Argus predictions 10 – 12 March 2012

Just a short word of thanks to everyone who has taken part over the past couple of years, because without your entries, this weekly bit of fun would be quite meaningless. I understand my successor has already been sorted and I hope the predictions continue to flourish.

Only two Champions League spots remain up for grabs and this will be the incentive for the five clubs chasing a coveted top 4 slot. Only Chelsea enjoy home advantage which should be enough to see them past Stoke and maintain some momentum. Arsenal appear to have turned a corner and three points for them would probably see Newcastle out of this particular race and a win for our lads would probably have similar impact on Liverpool’s aspirations. Spurs will have their work cut out against an Everton side that hasn’t tasted defeat in the last five games and still has an outside chance of a spot in the Europa League.

1. Anyone can play – visitors welcome.
2. Winner is the person with the highest number of correct RESULTS
3. In the event of a tie, then the person with the highest number of correct SCORES takes the top spot.
4. No entries accepted after first game starts.
5. Results will usually be published the day following the last game played.
