A few surprises this week with not a single person forecasting yet another away win for Wigan and only one predicting a win for Stoke. 2nd again, on somewhat of a role atm, cheers argus. how about next year you have it as a league system so the scores carry over from week to week as well as the weekly score.
Steve, This has been suggested on numerous occasions but it's not likely to happen because it precludes any newcomers from joining in over the season and even the regulars don't submit an entry EVERY week, due to holidays etc.. so any final table would be misleading. From a personal point of view, I really don't have the spare time for such a commitment, however, if anyone wishes to produce a league table from the weekly results - and come up with a formula to accommodate everyone - then I'm sure it would provide a bit of additional interest for participants.
I havnt got time either right now but next season i might. but for the formula. Weeks played Correct Results Correct Scores 10 weeks played / 40 correct results = 4 correct scores 10 * 2 as its harder to get a correct score 20 / 10 = 2 10 4 2 but you must participate in at least 5 before you can be entered into the league table. (if that makes sense I am in a rush to go out) basically your average over weeks played so some will have 4.2 4.8 5.6 etc etc.

Mid table mediocrity I will quite happily accept. As the only result that mattered to me came up trumps both financially and personally. 2-1 Haway the lads!!!!!!!!.
Well started the league, done the 1st 2 weeks of results but i am bored off my rocker, so will give it a rest and if i can be bothered i may do some more tomorrow, but might just wait till next season now, far too much of a backlog to catch up on.
