Well it looks like it's not going to be hard to be the best side in London this season. What made me laugh was 'Arry blaming Chelsea for their poor start. You don't keep a player that wants to leave as it will cause unrest. They should have just sold him and brought in 3-4 new faces with the money. Wenger just can't stop lying. After telling the press that Fabregas and Nasri were not leaving the day Fabregas flew to Barcelona he said that in fact it wasn't the weakest side he had brought to old Trafford and losing 8-2 in the heaviest defeat in well over 100 years wasn't the worst day of his career at Arsenal. If that wasn't I wonder what was?

You're right Ess! Neither Harry nor Whinger seemed to have looked into their crystal ball! With the funds available to them they could have introduced good quality players with positive attitudes and have settled into the sides by now! As it is Arsenal have no one (and with 3 red cards suspensions looming) and Spurs will either sell modric with no time to replace him or have a non committed player on their books. They have to face the consequences now!

I don't think time would be a restriction for Harry should they sell us Modric as he loves a dodgy deal and is never far away from shady too long.

Both Modric and 'Arry are both beginning to get on my six nipples. The way Modric is going on is getting very Gallas like and quite frankly Chelsea should steer well clear. Imagine if he comes to Chelsea and has a great season and Man City or Barca and Real Mads, suddenly decide they want a 54th midfielder just in case the others all catch flu. He'd behave just the same. 'Ark at 'Arry who brakes the cardinal rule about keeping it inside the squad and has made Modric a pariah and Cassandra all rolled into one. It's like children or monkeys not two fully grown men. The whole situation sort of highlights how people in the Premiership seem to live in a bubble compared to the rest of the World. The common sense and maturity appear non-exsitent and morals and ethics seems broken inside it.

To be fair, Polar Bear.Modric desperately wants Champions League football and I can understand that. I think he knows that wont happen with the Spuds. With him in our midfield I reckon we'd have an outside chance of winning the CL----Barcelona and all.

I dont think Modric wants to move for money at all, arry offering him a new salary won't affect his decision! He wants to join us for the reason put by bluemoon, and rightly put - with him in our team we definitely do have an outside chance of winning the CL!
