Now the season is virtually over, I wondered about starting a thread about the inexplicable things in life. There is certainly a comprehensive mix on our board and I'm sure some of the ponderous things in life could be answered on here. One that I have puzzled over is: Why is there no "Tear Here" strip on value biscuits?
Maybe because a 'tear here' strip will invalidate their claim to be value? Why do ITV commentators feel the need to come up with new pronunciations for peoples names? E.g. Drogba becoming Drog-baaaar
It would cost much more for the "Tear off" strip and then they wouldn't be classed as value biscuits!
Why do certain foorballers fall over like a shot antelope when someone farts in their direction in Row ZZ ?
Why do ITV commentators have to speak at all? Most of the time all they do is state the bleeding obvious!
Why did Demba Ba receive a Europa League Winners Medal, when he never played for them due being cup-tied through Newcastle... Secondly, I support Chelsea, but does Terry have no shame? He basically elbowed Lampard out of the way when he tried to lift the trophy!
One good one I heard on Health and Safety.Someone worked in an office complex and the washroom had three taps.The nearest one to the hot water supply was very hot so had a notice on it saying "warning hot water".Regulations came in demanding all the hot taps have such a notice.As soon as they were put on the other two,people started to get scalded by the first one.
