We have our rivalries here in Chicago: Cubs/Cards, Cubs/Sox, Bears/Packers, but I don't hate the rivals. I often root for them when they are involved in Championships, beacause when they are successful, we are usually struggling. You all have mag friends and some even mag spouses. But I truly hate Mexico. If you live in the US and support Mexico - I want you deported. If you poor beer on US supporters - I want you tried for treason! This is the real thing. http://www.ussoccer.com/stories/201...bus-for-final-round-2018-world-cup-qualifying
Bum Bears vs Fudge Packers - I bet that get a bit messy. Whilst we are here, let's engage in this US 'soccer' thing... how long before the US start producing some truly world class footballers? There's a hell of a lot more people living there than there is in European countries (not combined obviously) so surely, if they put their minds to it, with great coaches etc... we're gonna see some, the size of the average yank is like 6ft 17 and 350lbs, so I have visions of yank dominance, all it takes is for the nation to fall in love with the sport. The chinese are also trying... I'm not as hopeful for them.
18 year old Christian Pulisic already has 12 appearances and scored a brace for Borussia Dortmund, Dempsey scored 20 in the Premier League and in Four consecutive world cups, Rafa Benitez might take Yedlin along for the ride. But that is not the half of it, we have MILLIONS of youth soccer players. I heard a couple of the Moms talking at soccer practice the other day. They were talking about the football coach at a local high school going around and recruiting from the pool of players that didn't make the soccer team. Soon our very best atheletes will choose soccer and that will be it. I now realize that I should have waited until after the election to post this thread.
Another Sunderland transfer mess up As a Sunderland fan I'm really angry and frustrated bit we will recover and make more similar messes
I know he was on loan but in his first season and a step up to our current right back imo. We should have signed him. But many agree with you -we'll see how disastrous he becomes at our dark sided rivals
In every context. I will spell it out. Hindsight maybe seen as a wonderful thing. But is it? Donr change the course of the world. Thats me out of this one.
Well thar you go Billi-Bob, get you ass down thar and make sure the gits on the bus after game. Mind if Mexico win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In all sincerity I will be watching and with what has happened this week there is a fair dose of spice been added.
Stings a bit, but anyone who watched both England/Scotland and USA/mexico will have notced the marked difference in the intensity of the two matches.
