Was wondering if you are happy with the progress you are making for the new campaign ahead, obviously coming up to the premier league is a big step up, and all 3 promoted teams must be ready for a very tough campaign, do you think that you are making the right first steps on staying up, and do you rate your survival plans ? As you know the bookies has all three clubs down as favourites to be relegated. Look forward to your thoughts.
I'd be a lot happier had I not just done my bollocks at Sandown Park today. Ryan Moore is a luxury jockey. As for QPR let's take a rain check next month. It's looking shight at the moment though!
Well, at present we're 13th with 0 points from 0 games, one place behind Norwich and three places ahead of the Swans, I think that's good progress and I'm reasonably happy. If we finish in the same place I'll be ecstatic!
Reckon you know the score Jager. Would you be happy if the F1 ****ers took Swansea over, put ticket prices through the roof and left Rogers with no funds to build on, wage ceilings unrealistically low etc..? Answers itself doesn't it? As for the evident animosity between our boards, there's certainly been anti-Welsh stuff on our side which Swans are evidently upset about. Not into that meself but seen a fair bit of equally mindless antagonism coming from your lot on both boards (viz your QPR sticky). I find it a bit weird seeing Swans laughing their heads off at our off field demise when the concerns of the vast majority on our board is about the rank incompetence of our owners... You have to ask yourself what kind of response you're likely to get if you start prodding a bear with a sore head.
That was a bit of banter, and I have asked for it to be removed as a sticky more than once, but the point is I know you are having off field problems, its not meant as a wind up at all, as I have asked the same question on Norwich's board, its plenty of time for things to change, just wanted to know if there is anything positive coming out of QPR. And I do also know about the bigotted replies at times about the Swans and being Welsh etc, which I don't understand myself as both clubs as well as Norwich actually came into the league system at the same time , and we all got promoted at the same time, so lets just call it a genuine question on how you think the league will pan out.
It's true Jager, that there ain't a *** paper's difference between Norwich, Swans and Rangers over the years. Usually one's up another's down and the other's somewhere in between. As things stand you've got a good owner, good manager, club's in the black (if only just) and things are going pretty well. Best of luck to you. Same for Norwich. Great set up there. As for us, ****ed by our owners and nowhere near the starting blocks I'm afraid. Some of us on here are trying to see it as glass half full and others are not so sure. Predictions for the coming season? Resource and style of play: Swans to survive. Norwich maybe and if nothing changes for the better, us down. PS - Your board seems pretty anti our Mod, Northolt. I find that a bit ironic. Rivalries aside, he sussed the Swans quality when things weren't looking so good for you - and constantly backed the Swans to win the play-offs. Me? I went for the fake hoops, Reading!
Northolt, its not about being anti swansea, its up to you who you supported during the play offs etc, but what got people's gander up is the bigoted replies etc, but anyway I just want this as a football discussion only, it would be a damned shame if you are stymied by the people who own you, it will be a hell of a shame, you got £40m or so for coming up the same as us, surely there is money there without investment from the board?
Two-way street the old bigotism. ===================== But keeping to football, we're a bit touchy at the mo. And didn't appreciate getting wummed by your childish mod, and his oh so funny emoticons!
See what we're dealing with Jager! ========================== Silver tickets and the cost for away fans: A - 45 B - 55 C - 64 Gold tickets A - 52 B = 60 C - 65 Platinum tickets A - 65 B - 75 C - 84
Don't forget with platinum tickets you get to sit next to a fat sweaty Italien with Naomi Campbell in tow...
That is bloody expensive , the swans kept the prices low and we have sold more than 16k season tickets, if I remember rightly the qpr board tried raising prices substantially two seasons ago, and there was almost an uprising , these people should be giving something to fans, in the new season your gates could be lower than last season because you've priced out of the Market.
They're counting on the prawn sandwich brigade buying the matchday tickets, they'll be disappointed with the sandwiches...
No I am not happy, Swansea and Norwich are buying players as if there is no tomorrow, and all we are hearing is how long before Warnock fecks off into the sunset.
Shame really, Seems they couldn't really give a **** if you lot end up rock bottom of the table. Just goes to show how business and football fans differ, one supports the club through thick and thin, the other often out to squeeze every penny out of it.. Shame what the games become/becoming.
