I still can't get over we've managed to keep the likes of Ki, Gylfi, Fab and Fernandez. I thought we were in for a tough summer with our players being linked everywhere and losing one or two.

Am I worried? Like hell am I, it's been a great window. Bring on Chelsea next week (who could be without Costa and Cahill).

Clubs know the way we do business now and I think their 'lack of interest' is a mark of respect for how we conduct ourselves. Clubs know and appreciate that we are not push overs, especially in the transfer market. Clubs, chairmen, also know that we can't be exploited or cajoled into unwanted sales as we are protected by our stable financial position. This financial security means that we can resist being cherry picked and that there are no 'bargains' to be found here. Its been a long time coming but clubs know that we can afford to be shrewd.

We will sell only if conditions are in our favor, if not we won't. Its that simple, we are in control and the bargain hunters know it.

    Happy days :D

Maybe they've seen that the chances of a player improving after they've left us are very low.

Its a good article that i read yesterday. There are not many players that have left us and went on to improve, I cant remember though there must be when we received any sell on money from other clubs when they sold on any of our ex players at a profit......
