The song, I am a cider drinker....

When I first went to the EE I used to sing it but never actually liked or drank cider but now its my favourite alcoholic drink. Kopparberg is the one.

So are you a cider drinker and if so whats your drink? If not then what do you drink?

I love thatchers gold, it's my favourite cider. But I don't get tipsy on cider just go from normal to pissed so I miss that nice tipsy feeling. And the worse thing it can happen any time even between the hird and forth sometimes just flicks.
Prefer a lager, unless its a full on sesh, then it's four or five lagers then shed loads of vodka and lemonade but not that cheap vodka ****e.
My daughter loves swigging on cider at parties and says she's proper Bristolian, bless her she's welsh <laugh>

I used to drink the rough stuff at the Puriton Inn many years ago but quickly found out that it is a pseudonym for dysentery.

Thatchers, Stowford, Natch and when I lived in Midsomer Murders I Loved Black Rat... but got me into so much trouble, I've cut back now and just drink pints of Jacob's Creek.

I dont really have a favourite, there are just some better than others
Mainly because its on offer but i tend to drink Rekorderlig at the moment. The swedish cider isnt too bad. They just gives a twist using various flavours.

My wife loves the local cider, brothers

Hate lager. Taste like ****e, Might just be something you like more when you get older?

Kopparberg for me though, I've recently tried Stowford press and it wasn't to bad.

When ever I have Lager it's with a dash of lemonade or with lime, try that Shiny takes the coarseness of it for me. Plus for some reason Stella gives me blinding headaches even after one, same as Heineken which are brewed in the same place so could be something in their hops.

One Cider I don't drink is Natch, it's way to dry for me, I have two lagers after to hydrate me again.

Scrumpy is a desired taste, but it just don't do it for me.

Used to enjoy a snakebite as a kid, but they did have a habit of ****ing me up.

Why does Cider make you more violent than other drinks when drunk?

and any other fizzy clear appearance bottled or tins is really alcoholic apple juice takes a few days to make and is usually made from concentrate...made from apples it can be called cider

real cider is flat comes in unclear colours from yellow to bright orange takes months to brew I used to drink it but now drink real ale...have done since 1970's

It doesnt make you more violent its a myth. It will get you drunker if drank in quantity as a real cider is 2% above a lager in abv. It is less likely to give a hangover due to the way it is made. That doesnt apply to some of the commercial ciders on here like gold stowfords etc which have additives in them and are far removed from the real thing.
