They've got to gamble to make it back into the Premier League - they will soon make their money back if they can get back up and stay up.

For all the money they've spent, they're a poor team. We (Hull) absolutely slaughtered them for most of our game 3 weeks ago, but they scored with their only two shots on target. If they come up against a half-decent team, they struggle.

They're not right to do it, but it's not comparable with Leeds where we were spending money that didn't belong to us and were gambling our ability to pay it back on league finishes. If they get further into debt, the owners will simply pay them off like they did when demoted. Ridsdale couldn't do that, hence our downfall. Their team looked quite beatable against Leeds and I think they'll be playoff rather than automatic come the end of the season.

Football clubs are renowned for their debts. Most of them trade in the red and continually bleed money. Some of the huge teams can turn a nice profit but they are still mired in deep debt. Real Madrid is in the hole to the tune of 169,000,000 Euros. Barcelona 483,000,000 Euros, Chelsea over 700,000,000 Pounds and Man U somewhere around 600,000,000 pounds. Who'd want their super invested in these companies?

I guess they have to risk it this year. They could have made a long term plan or risk money being spent now to be back in the Prem.
I think they may make it back. They have Sam as their manager and he is pretty effective at getting results, though they may not be pretty.

I actually thought they were the trickiest opponents we've had at St Mary's so far this season. Not the most entertaining, not the best footballing side, but every time they got possesion and lumped it forward I thought they were going to score. They play long ball, but they have loads of quality and always look threatening. I'm sure they've been outplayed by loads of teams they've beaten.

Will you bring many to the beautiful south(hampton) next Tuesday do you reckon?
