With many of us up in arms about the appointment of Steve Lomas i've had time too reflect on things and have come to the conclusion that some of us are going overboard with threats of boycotting and what have you. Every club have their own fierce rivalries but that doesn't seem to stop them welcoming ex players of theirs. Leeds are a prime example of this they live to hate Scum(Man Utd) but some of their best players have come from their hated rivals and the same vice versa, Tottenham and Arsenal have taken a few players of eachother as well. West Ham welcomed Teddy Sherringham even though he was a Millwall legend and with Allahdyce managing them the few disgruntled ones there mainly hate his tactics and fatness rather than the fact that he used to play for Millwall. I'm not entirely happy with Lomas's appointment but he is here now so i will give him a chance and with Harris as his assistant it won't be long before the two of them are leading the crowd with a rendition of "**** 'em all!!!"
Good post Ringo I really dont want Lomas as our Manager but will accept it to a degree cos i have to. My love for wall is a life long thing and as someone else has stated,it will continue long after he has gone. But dont expect me to start a rendition of "theres only one Stevie Lomas".
Not bothered if some fans dislike Lomas I can understand to a certain extent. Question for them is do you hate him more than you support the club? If yes then this kind of 'fan' is no loss.
