Are we the most exciting team in Europe to watch at the mo? 4-2 spurs, 5-4 United, 3-2 shaktar, 2-3 clattenburg Even Mikel is bombing forward... And leaving us open at the back. with Luiz at Cb so the oppo always have a chance too. Mikel had shots on goal last night! Mikel!!
We give teams more chance at the back than Barca and Bayern so we are more entertaining. Plus we have FT for comedy value
In the UK easily. I've never found Barca entertaining since Riijkard left personally. Ancelotti's Milan and Lyon of the early/mid 00s were brilliant to watch though.
I'm with you re Barca, like watching a game of ping pong, with Messi scoring to give us some relief. Besides, we can beat them every time the ref is not bent, and so ,it seems, can Celtic !!
I think it depends on what you call "exciting football." Teams that just pass like Barca I find boring, I think we all love some good passing sequences, but just sideways passing all game gets quite old. I'd say the sides I find the most entertaining at the moment would be Madrid, Dortmund, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Shaktar. Just my opinion of course.
I'm inclined to agree with this! Beauty, as they say , is in the eye of the beholder and it often depends who we are playing that allows us to look beautiful. I dont think we will ever look beautiful when we play Stoke, but when we come up against MU and we both want to win I dont think we'll see more beautiful football!
Seems another young Brazilian is joining us soon. http://www.sambafoot.com/en/news/38338_chelsea_complete_signing_of_full-back_wallace_-_report.html http://www.sambafoot.com/en/news/38448_oscar__chelsea_are_the__blue_brazil_.html
You are certainly the most entertaining club in Europe. You have taken that particular mantel off 'Pool, which both surprises and disappoints me, in equal measure.
I have to admit, Chelsea are playing more interesting football now, than when the special one was in charge.
It's hard to define exciting but to me it is a combination of fast paced technical ability, great goals and heart in mouth football. I think that a number of games this year (Jan onwards) have fallen into the exciting category esp' when we have come back from being behind under adversity. As to whether we are the most exciting team in football I don't have an answer - I don't get to see enough European football to judge tbh.
If I were frankie howard I'd be able to come up with something smutty to the idea of you being so excited that you bite your sofa
I remember when you beat Barca in last season's CL, watching you park the bus for 80 minutes of that game, and thinking, "Wow! This team really is the most exciting team in Europe!"
