In answer to the original question posed - yes, of course we are.

Now, to the issue of squad value. The reason for the low sell on value of our squad is a mixture of selling our best two players last season (for c21m) and replacing them with players worth quite a bit less (Berba and Karagounis for £4m), the fact our squad is getting older and the fact Jol was restricted to so many loan signing last season. I'll be interested to see how our value develops next season, with players like Kaca and Dejagah certainly likely to be worth more and with the move to slowly get younger across the team.

    Yes

We are one of the smallest clubs in the prem in terms of stadium, fan base, income, history.... Everything says one day we will be relegated hopefully it's not for a few years and hopefully when it happens the money, squad, academy and stadium we have built with the income from the prem has put us in a position for a quick return.
The biggest bonus would be we stay up long enough to use the premiership money to build the club up enough to the point we are no longer one of the smallest clubs in the league the only problem will be building up fan base due to being so close to Chelscum, will we ever consistently sell out a 30,000 + stadium?

I think we can fill it out, but not with people from our fan base (immediately, anyway). We get a lot of tourists (I think we're the only PL ground with a neutral section) and as the fanbase isn't huge Fulham is probably the best London club (West Ham might overtake us when they get the new stadium) to get tickets for a match without too much hassle. With the increase in interest in the PL, reflected in TV money, I expect we will get more even more tourists who discover us.

I also think that out family orientated approach will win out- there are so many women and kids on match day. It can mean that it's not your traditional atmosphere, but I think most away fans would agree our ground is one of the very best to visit.

Signing a player from the far east would do a lot for growing our fanbase too!

This video is a year old but covers similar ground to us being overachievers
