I hate being a doom and gloom monger but I can't help wondering if our lack of form in the run in isn't making it easy for the FA to deduct points. Although we've been the dominant side all season when we were 12 points clear it's an easy argument to make that any rule breaking wasn't affecting the placings. Now that we're, on current ( last 6 games ) form, 9th. and seemingly only going to stumble over the line the anti QPR/Warnock brigade can seize on this and claim that the advantage gained has influenced placings. Bear in mind those standing in judgement will not have watched our amazing run this season and will only look at the positions after 45 games.
We're not screwed at all. So far it's all speculation and, given the timing of the hearing, the smart money is still on a large fine, although that's just more speculation from me.
