Listening to TP on Radio Stoke today I must admit things don`t sound too promising! If as has been constantly said ,the squad is to be improved in quality then it stands to reason that we are going to have to increase our wage structure.I admire our stand on players wages ( which are ridiculous when you think about it) BUT in the real world you get what you pay for!!(well most of the time anyway) and as the old saying goes if you pay peanuts----------. By the way that was rhetorical! The way it`s going ,unless he can somehow square the circle we will end up as a rich club in the championship next year.I will say that that`s a better proposition than being like pompey and a few other teams!!
What concerns me is a last minute bargain basement panic buying session and we end up with more tat. Tuncay scored a cracking goal tonight and made the other for Bolton. Why oh why did we sell him???? Please TP bring in some quality and at least two decent strikers!
