Are we becoming too cliquey?

What a great response from Liam Rosenior on the radio tonight. He is truely a great communicator and told it as it is in many many ways i guess. However, I just wonder if behind all this, as with any workplace, there are cliques inside the camp - ie Uncle Chesses crew, The Barmby favourites perhaps, McLean's Tribe etc, etc. Would that be healthy for morale?

The problem is that we have Fryatt, Rosenior, Korren maybe Cairney and Cameron Stewart who are very good players who would be in the starting line up in any promotion pushing team. Fundamentally though the rest of them would not look out of place in league 1... The whole purpose of last season was to build a squad I don't think we have, we have too much raw talent and I'm sick of hearing about it what we don't have is quality across the board.

The Loss of Gerrard and Ayala was massive We need another quality striker and we need two mid fielders who are willing to fight for the cause, not run around like a pansy for 90 minutes.

when he was asked what we needed to do to change things, and he replied score and not concede , i couldnt decide if he was being funny or just thick?
also when he was saying, theres lots of players, who stand there pointing and shouting but not doing much..i thought to myself, that will be awkward when he bumps into harper at training monday <laugh>

they all seem to have the attitude that someone else is going to do it so they pass the ball to each other expecting someone to do something but no one does. They don't work as a team but the problem is the individuals aren't performing exceptionally either. It's a catalyst for a bad season in my opinion

I Agree there seems to have been a subliminal change in attitude of late, is it the Man U Kidz? DO they think they are better than the others in the camp? Are the others saying well FU here's the ball if youre so good then go and do it? They played like a fragmented bunch today and NP needs to take responsibility and galvanise these young men into a TEAM of MEN.

Apart from Rosenior there was not one player in that team today who i thought would come out and stand up and try and make something happen, they all expect it just to click. I am saying what you are in probably a more round about way, as i don't think they all go out there saying i will leave it to someone else, but they expect it to be easy and not have to graft. We just have no Magic in our team, each team who went up had someone who you could rely on. We have Rosenior, great talent but you can't expect our right back to run the show.

Nigel needs to teach them to hate loosing, because at the moment they seem numb to it...
