This is what could happen if it gets out of hand.......would this be a good thing or a bad thing given the current ownership????????? http://www.goal.com/en-ke/news/4523...ip-to-gor-mahia-and-afc-leopards?ICID=AR_RA_1
To be fair, the article doesn't spell out exactly what "hooliganism" took place, in Kenya, it could be a different ball game to anything we see here. What is interesting is the comments below the article. Seems that this co isn't too popular with the Kenyan locals, possibly questions about its cash flow too. Only time will tell.
Yes it was all tongue in cheek. Looking at the links to other articles on there sponsorship of Hull City is also dependent on projected cash flow. This company seems to have emerged relatively recently and sponsorship in the Premiership seems ambitious and a statement of intent. Hopefully it will proceed smoothly.
To be honest, I don't want it to go smoothly, I want it to go belly up. Sometimes in life, in order to build something solid and with integrity, you have to rip down what is there and crumbling, and start again. I hope this sponsorship deal goes wrong, I hope we sign no players, fail to hire a credible manager and get relegated. I hope we go into administration and then get fan ownership, we can then move forewards. No American buy outs, no healing of the Allams rifts, etc etc. Saying that, about 5 mins ago on another thread I said I wouldn't mind Martinez and some attacking football, so I'm not being entirely consistent. It's late, I'm tired.
The bell end who has called himself City Man, Stuart Blampey and City Aggro fancies himself as a terrace warrior/ Danny Dyer wannabe/ hooligan. Talks a good shag but it is all piss and wind. FACT.
