Lot of negativity tonight lads (and lasses) but really on our day are there 3 worse teams than us that would go down?

    Blackburn - yes
    Wigan - yes
    Swansea and Norwich - debatable
Bolton - with a decent forward no
Wolves - we beat and I think we'd beat again

So unless we strengthen we could be struggling because at the moment Swansea and Norwich know how to win, sadly we dont. Thoughts?

Not having a go mate, but we lost to Wigan and drew with Blackburn at home, so I fail to see how any fan of our club can say we're better than them?

The simple answer is No. We deserve to be a bottom team club by the standard we are playing at.

That is true and to be fair Wigan looked decent against Liverpool. Blackburn are ****e and with their board looking to keep Kean, I think we its fair to say they are down. All I'm saying is we need to start picking up wins and tonight was one of them. We need some serious strengthening but in theory our squad is better than Swansea and Norwich so surely you have to look at how the team is being managed?

I'm sorry but that is utter bullshit and you're a lousy supporter if that's your real attitude. We don't deserve to be bottom because we have enough points not to be. We've done well enough so far to be where we are. Why would you say we deserve to be bottom?!?!

It's even arguable that we deserved more points from how we've played in certain games where we lost or only had one point.

Rubbish. One game doesn't tell you who's the better side or not, particularly when in that game you have Agyemang up front, Perone at the back and hit the post three times. There's very little in it between ourselves, Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton, Wolves and Swansea and it's quite possible that others will get dragged in. Blackpool had 22 points from 16 games last season.

A Daveinmelbourne said there are 63 points to play for.....so lets say we only get 30 of them then we have 46 points at the end of the season and that would surely be enough.

...how should we get another 30 points if currently look at 16 - quite optimistic I guess.

A couple of wins and we are nicely mid-table but I don't know where these wins are going to come from. Our self destructive defense is likely to keep conceding and until we can shore up the leaks or bring in players who can score plenty of goals the drop is possible.

Are any of the defenders mentioned previously one of the two loanees or two signgings Warnock promised?

Wigan have a good manager and some excellent players, Rodallega to name but one. Blackburn have Yakubu and Hoillett. Can in all honesty only see Norwich having a worse squad than us and they're doing well. Swansea hopefully will go down, can't f*cking stand the place.

We need at least four decent players in Jan.

Your taking what i said out of context, i'm fully aware of the players we had in those matches as I was there my friend. What i'm trying to say is that its very very naive of someone to make a topic, then ask is there 3 worse teams than us? Then IMMEDIATELY just list Blackburn and Wigan as teams that we are 'better' than, when results show that this simply isn't the case.
