Don't worry ted i did the same a few years back when we were playing Blackburn in a Tuesday night game. I went to HQ and thought this is quiet only to find out it was on Wednesday. Took me over 2 hrs to get to QPR as well!
how embarresssing it was a bit like when i parked my car in the macdonalds car park at the brentford away game i am for those of you that dont know me a seriouslly big fat man very ugly as well and five mins before the end of the game and before bircham scored the winner i decided oh crikey will my car get clammped in macdonalds car park so i go crazy and rush out of qpr towards the end that qpr fans were occupying thinking these ten geezers outside were qpr hoodies i shout come on you rs un benowned to me this is the brentford youth hooligan firm they seeing this fat ugly man chaseing down towards them think that im comming for a fight so they take off in panick but as the they get down the bottom of the road sadly for them they turned towards the macdonalds which of course is the direction im heading for and at about 100 miles an hour,it was hysterical by the time i get to macdonalds the brentford fans are terryfied thinking they are going to get a terrible pasting but i simply jump in my car and scream out of my way before you get run over i have no idea what they must have thought on me but sometime later they were playing palace at home in a friendly and i have now forgot about the incident so i go into the macdonalds and they recognized me. NOW IM A BIT FRIGHTENED THERE ARE MORE OF THEM NOW ABOUT TWENTY so i decided to front it out,as i walk out the macdonalds i make eye contact,and say,we are after some palace fans but you can all rest in peace qpr are not after you today with this they are all exited,HEY QPR ARE WITH US TODAY and remarkably i get into my car once more and just think WOW WOW WOW why does it always happen to me,im not the most luckiest bloke in the world sometimes,just ask my wife brian she knows many things

well funny stories are sometimes a bit more important than the statistics of football,life is really more important than football and as a 61 year old ive lost so many beautifull friends like trev kingham he loved his qpr why did he have to die so young like russ more another qpr fan who tragically lost his life,neil roberts i drove all the way to his seaside home to be with him,his last words to me was let me give you a qpr mememory he wanted to give me one of his old shirts but i wouldnt take it because i told him he would live,but in fact i knew he was dying,his family got him on television where he watched his last qpr match,why is life so tragic sometimes,why do so many terrible things happen
