    "At the heart of the classic footballer stereotype is the notion that they're all a bit lacking in the old grey matter department. Let's face it, most of 'em left school without a qualification to their names (who needs GCSEs to score 25 goals a season?), their interpretation of grammar is unique to say the least, they are the masters of the malapropism."


    That was the opening bit to a post by the Club back in 2003. To test the theory they set a test for some of our players of the time. Here's a link to the whole story and the results of the experiment - quite amusing really. Try testing yourself before you see how the boys got on.

    I got 19 which was disappointing, I'd hoped for 7 so I could be a footballer.:emoticon-0101-sadsm

    Not wanting to be smug, but I aced it. Not only that, I'm claiming an extra point for the John Lennon question - long before Yoko, he was married to Cynthia, mother of Julian. Okay, maybe I do just want to be smug.
