First an enquiry for alex, then an enquiry for benayoun, now a enquiry for malouda... talk about trying to rob us of our players lol, i don't mind any of them going but i'd rather they go abroad considering there all very good players and it would allow us to buy better players due to having more spaces for foreigners, but come on wenger stay away from our players, actually felt sorry for arsenal but if they get all 3 of them i hope they stay in crisis. Thoughts/views on these 3 leaving? Also Perreira posted on twitter earlier a deal is imminent with chelsea, so looks like we have maloudas replacement, mata looked exceptionally good so we've got benayouns replacement and it also looks like Van Der Wiel is on his way. Hopefully modric and then its a perfect window all round, only one thing would make it better - If lille proceed with a bid for kalou and finally get that mug out of our club !! KTBFFH
I swear Malouda got the most Assists or something last season? Could not see why Chelsea would want to sell him...
I believe Alex will be sold, probably to Arsenal given they're desperate for defenders. Ivan will be made purely into a CB for the future paving the way for Van Der Wiel to come in and share with Bosingwa and keep each other on their toes! In terms of Malouda, I honestly can't see him leaving Chelsea, if like you say Pereira is imminent then fair enough but otherwise, no. I'd love VDW here and I think Spuds will definitely accept a 40m bid for Modric, if they don't then they are being petulant and very pretentious about their player . I do know however that these final two days will be busy/exciting ones for us Chelsea fans!!
Will be sad to see Alex go but like you said his chances will be limited and he is getting on a bit now at 29 whereas luiz is young and ivanovic is perfect back up and also is a few years younger than alex, and i think spurs have to sell, Ledley King and Redknapp have both said its causing a lot of friction in the dressing room and it's like the fabregas/nasri situation you can't keep a player that don't want to play for you all it will cause is tension, so they might as well take the 40million even though i think its well too much but i couldn't care because it takes a chunk out of spurs and gives us an extra good player in midfield. And yep lets hope theres loads of good moves, i've been very impressed with our signings, all young and look quality, all we need is kalou out and its happy days lol, VDW is probably one of the best young right backs i've ever seen, defensively he still has a bit to learn but his very fast and a quality passer and crosser. If we sign off from the transfer window with VDW, Pereira and Modric added to our other signings it would of been a great transfer window, accquiring great young talent and even Meireles would sweeten it up, and hopefully Kalou out will make it the perfect window. Heres to good times ahead lads, couldn't really care what we do this season as were in a transition season and were building for the future and next season should be our peak, just imagine next season, and if everything goes perfect then look at the players we could have at our disposal that will all be settled in and hopefully all ready to win that elusive champions league for us - VWD,Pereira, Romelu,Lukaku,Sturridge,Mata, Modric, Meireles, Courtious,Joshy M,Ramires,Torres,Mikel,Cech,Ivanovic,Luiz - Not one of them are over 30 and all quality, the future looks bright
Cooper,of course Chelsea can win the CL as it is a cup competition and the list of players is impressive and whilst it is better than Arsenal's, I don't think it would worry Barcelona or the Manchester clubs. Put another way how many of those players would be a starter in those clubs 1st eleven.
Barca's back four isn't the greatest in world football. Yes they have the most devastating attack and by keeping the ball for long periods they take the pressure off the defence. I am sure that Terry, Ivanovic, Luiz and Cole could get into a Barca starting eleven, whilst Drogba could at least make the bench as would Mata (he was their second choice if they didn't sign Sanchez) and with the service he would get there I am sure Torres could score a fair few.
