Apparantly Milan aren't too keen on keeping Aqua, despite only having to pay â¬6m for him. He has to play 4 of the 5 remaining games for that clause to be active. Seems quite likely that he will be returning to LFC in the summer.
Mixed feelings really. On the one hand it'd be great to have a central creative playmaker for cover/replacement for Gerrard but on the other I'm sceptical on his injury proneness and whether he can fit back into the prem.
I think he could definately fit into the team because he is technically and mentally very good. However, I question his desire to play in England and also the fact that two big Italian clubs have rejected the chances to sign him, even at a snip of the cost.
He always looked good in a red shirt, it was a pity he couldn't settle. But I would use him ahead of some of the other players we have.
I'd like to know why they don't really want him at that price- surely it's a steal? Having said that, I always liked the look of him and I'd like to give him one last chance. He would have to get the right attitude, but I'd love to see what he could do to unlock some of the stubborn defences we've been up against recently.
I like him too, but for some reason his desire to play in England for Liverpool is lacking. Id put £100 on selling/loaning him (and i'm a student) next year. IF he did stay he would start over Adam in my opinion, (but probably not Kenny's) and i reckon would get a number of assists, and a few goals.
Ricardo Montolivo is available on a free, and they're in for him. Milan really don't like buying players if they don't have to.
I wonder how he would fit in now? Our line up has changed a fair bit since he was here last, also we do need more intelligent players. But the clincher is he would definatelty be an improvement on Chadam Get him back here Kenny, rub his hair with your knuckles tell him we all love him really and give him another shot !
I think Aqua is more suited to an advanced CM role, similar to Gerrard (in his best position) and Suarez. I would be more inclined to take Carroll out of the team, push Suarez as the striker with Aqua behind him.

Agreed mate and I can't believe people are so keen to get him back tbh. What did he do in a Red shirt that makes everyone think he'd solve any of our issues?? ChAdam might be bollox but at least he'll always try his hardest. I know we're pretty bloody desperate for talent but for me Aqua never was and never will be the solution. Get rid
Aquilani is old news. One way or another he will not be re-appearing at Anfield. The interesting point that appears to be missed regards Milan. Even for a squad player, the price that Milan would have to pay for him is cheap - yet they do not want to pay. Or is it that milan's finances are in such a perilious state they they can't afford to pay? If so, stand by for many a fire sale out of spain and Italy this Summer.
I think it's quite clear he doesn't want to be here. We all said this last summer but we need to get him off the books permanently this summer. Please no more loans. Please.
