Maybe Rogers has a plan for Suso to go on loan, and maybe he wants to save Bellamy's fitness for the league. Who so many keepers?
Jen change has said that the squad is just for the first couple of games against Gomel and can be changed.. Still dont understand why many B level players are included ahead of Suso.... has he chucked his toys out the pram for going back to the reserves.......Im desperate to see how we ot on against huddersfield today as Suso's performance could indicate alot about his mental state and his will to succeed....
The squad is just for the qualifiers so unlikely Bellamy, Suarez and Coates will be playing in the two games due to the olympics. No Idea why we need six keepers for 2 games.
Can't Suso be added at any time though anyway as he's under21? I think he can be added up to 24 hours before the game but still a tad odd. With Bellamy I presume thats because even if GB don't qualify he will need a lot more rest than the other two but that's purely guesswork on my part Edit: Just realised RB said most of this already
Note that Uruguay are at risk of being out of the Olympic football and could see our players return early.
Although I'd like to see Suarez and Coates do well, I hope Team GB get a point out of the game. Nothing to do with it being Team GB and everything to do with getting the two Uruguayans back asap
With Spain out and Brazil and Uruguay behind us, I think we can really go for it here. We could have Joe Allen from that GB squad to.
I actually wanted to see UAE do well after their performance against Uruguay, they impressed me with their ball retention. They built on that first impression against Team GB too but obviously I didn't want them to win that one. Hope UAE can batter the **** out of Senegal though the cheating tossers I'd obviously like Team GB to do well but I'm even less fussed about them than I am England...
