Not sure if anyone else has seen the extracts from AP's autobiography (out next week) in today's Telegraph? All I can say is Chanelle was an utter saint to put up with that kind of c**p from him!

PN -Ive read the article, extracts, and it shows how driven he is, how bad it hurts him and how much the world of racing means to him... I dont see the book digging the dirt on people, or anyone he has crossed swords with but it will reveal how much this sport is all engulfing to the man, and the people around him... Your right though, Chanelle has had to put up with a lot...!!!
 
I agree, I have the utmost respect for the man, and I'm sure becoming a father has mellowed him greatly, but he was (and at least he admits it) an utter b*****d at that time to Chanelle. I'm sure her friends and family would have been pleading with her to leave him at that stage because he was mentally abusing her.
