Great stuff Ardent and may I ask: Do you expect to finish in profit every month, or do you have historical records for previous months? I found it impressive to be in profit in November and December and yet you seem to be steaming ahead nicely in January as well.
Hi Oddie the system has been rigoursly tested offline for a few years, and was finishing in profit every month in test, without exception. However...... it would be unrealistic to expect that there wouldnt be a blip at some point....i've just not come across that blip yet. The system been designed to work to a margin of 120 points profit a year at a minimum, thats the margin i'm working too, a higher strike rate and one or two bigger price winners can push that margin up. I'm very confident that we can continue to show profit monthly, there are difficult periods though, for example the end of the NH and start of the FLAT proper is a minefield so there are additional factors to consider seasonally and the system is designed with this in mind too.
