if anyone else has posted this appologies but just heard Woy on radio humberside saying he was a fan of our team. Apparently it was when he became friends with Tom Courtney Who was always chatting to him about our team. He went on to say he always looks out for our results And welcomes our return to the premiership But the one thing he seems not to know is what shape Ball we play with as he called us.......hull fc.

I'm not a Woy knocker but that's really not good enough is it? The England manager getting that wrong. As a minimum requirement I'd expect an England manager to know the names of English clubs, particularly one who've been in the PL for most of his tenure.
****ing hell you lot are so precious sometimes. He obviously knows you're called Hull City Amateur Football Club, he doesn't have to say every word of it for people to understand who he's on about. If someone called us Leicester FC, I don't think we'd be bothered at all.
Out of interest, do you seriously think AFC stands for Amateur or are you taking the piss? I knew a lot of people when I was at school who thought that. Cos you know, we weren't in the PL so that's Amateur football right? It's a really sad state of affairs if people think our name is a dirty word that might offend people. We're not called Leeds ffs.
Why would he though? Everybody knows he's talking about Hull the football club. If Roy were to say Leicester Tigers then he'd clearly be talking about the Rugby club. Even if he did get it wrong I doubt you'd find many people getting worked up about it. You just seem to have a paranoia about you as a fanbase.
Hull FC is the name of our local rugby club, it's exactly the same as calling you Leicester Tigers and he should know better.
