I would like to apologise to rifleman for my england comments last night,i was so wound up way we played ive carmed down now !!!im pleased with the win against wales but as i said in posts last night i was a bit concerned about some of the players attitude on the pitch,so many didnt bother to turn up in lampard, terry, milner and barry, the only ones i thourght showed pride where rooney, downing young and parker perhaps cole and smalling maybe?.Im not a fan of fabio cappello in my view he should have gone after the south africa shambles,i was just puzzled why he chose that team last night?.We were outplayed most of the second half,i would like to ask rifleman is he happy with the current squad and performance?.If we play that badly in euros we going home very quickly we got to show hunger and passion back again in an england shirt.Next match with only needing a point to qualify i would love to see some of the likes of cahill, showacross, parker and bent in the team instead of the usual rearguard team that played so badly last night!.I think once we qualify we should start with a new man in charge ,curbishley would do a brilliant job for england what about o neil?i know were stuck with cappello but i would love to see the fa pay him off and get an englishman in charge where it be his own team to move us forward .Once again riflleman i apologise if i upset u in anyway about my comments im passionate england fan who wants to win

Ackkers I am a passionate England fan to. Bottom line is we won the game 1-0 and have virtually qualified. I agree with you about Capello. We would be better off without him, but Curbs would not be the answer. Money is that wheeler dealer Harry boy will get the job. Bent did not feature last night as he was injured. No i'm was not that impressed with England's performance last night, but they played really well in Bulgaria on Friday night to win 3-0. ANyway, you have'nt upset me old boy

Capello has a good pool of players to work with, but he is useless, so that is the problem.

Seeing Lampard and Milner in the side gets on my wick. They are bum-duffers. I want to see Parker with Wilshere or Cleverley in the middle.

But the defence is good. Hart, Terry, Smalling and Cole are no-brainers for a starting place.

We have good wide players to pick from. Downing and Young can supply the bullets, but I still think Rooney needs support up front.

So, all in all, it is not that bad. Last night was dross, agreed, but until the manager goes I do not think we will get the best out of the players.

Did no one at the FA think to put a performance clause in Capello's contract? Like, get to the semi-final of the World Cup or you are sacked without a pay-off.

Whatever happens, I just love summers that have got a major football tournament in them.

Redknapp gets my vote when the vacancy arises.
