Just noticed on Sky Sports News, it says Anzhi have approached Fabio Capello about the managers job.

Hope this is true - get Harry Redknapp in and we actually stand a chance in the Euro's

We ain't got the players to win, Spain have awesome players, as do the Dutch and Germans.

True - but, would have more positivity than if Capello is still here

That's funny because he actually has the best record as England manager.

Yet he still has the highest win % ratio of an England manager.

Just shows how much England underachieve. We need an Englishman with passion, no doubt he would do well managing a club team - done it throughout his career, but we have no passion. The other night was a disgrace, the world cup was a disgrace and the same thing will happen in the Euro's

yeah, Redknapp will make the difference. I mean his record as manager totally eclipses Capello's for a start, and talk about tactical genius...

Capello is getting the blame but England's problems are far too entrenched for it to be him. He is a great manager, proved it everywhere he's been.

I pointed that out, he is good at club level. Done class in Italy and Madrid - but, we need an Englishman. We have some top players, some one who can get the passion and commitment from players is what we need

So this guy has our best record ever and that's still not enough. We have a terrible team, our striker force isn't even as good as the Spanish, Dutch, French, Croatian, Turkish, Bosnian, German...the list goes on. People like you just expect way too much from England, even with one of the greatest club managers in the last 15 years we're terrible

The players are the problem... no heart... sling 'em some money for their matches and then I bet they'd start caring.

And players like Rooney have undoubted talent, but he keeps kicking off like a petulant little brat all the time and we ain't gonna get anywhere

we don't have talented enough players or managers. while other countries have been making advances throughout the entire system, our FA's been twiddling it's thumbs for the last 20 years.

Redknapp is overrated to ****. Look at that Tottenham team, theyre achieving exactly what should be expected of them. The bare minimum infact. I dont get why people think hes so amazingly good and worthy of the England job other than his patriotism (theres plenty out there) and outspokeness. He wouldnt drop Lampard I bet. Id rather have somebody like Tony Pulis, honestly. He plays to his teams strengths and wouldnt think twice about dropping someone.

Rooney is one of the top 3 strikers in the world. Bent is a goalscorer. We have some class players

I expect a lot from England because we have some world class players who should be doing better. I just don't like Capello - I did say he is a great manager and done well wherever he been, but he not the man for us - sure he would like the nice £400k a week in Russia

I meant more like only getting paid for winning and ****, like other sportsmen. Realised I worded it extremely badly <laugh>
