Would take him on a free transfer but otherwise show him the same loyalty he showed us.

Not good enough for a 1 team league, too slow, too lazy. A big no from me.

I was critical of Joe at the time. But we are in a relegation fight.

Offer a swap deal with Gunner or Cowie in exchange (or both). He miles better than those 2.

    Ledley walks into our side.

Haven't we already got about 12 midfielders?

Joe is no better than any of them.

    A big no from me.

Either a winger or a striker (preferably both) but no more centre mids until the summer and only then if we shed a couple first.

Another Norwegian midfielder. Are we actually scouting in any other countries?

Our scouts have been working in Norway for years. Given the Molde budget, it's probably the only place they look. I commented elsewhere that I was concerend over our new scouting team.

    remote!
There does seem to be too much business going on between City and Ole's old club. I'm not saying these are bad players, simply you have to ask how one club can afford to lose so many midfielders in such a short time and at what cost so far to our club? How much of the promised £25m is now available?

Big supporter of Gunnar in the past, but he's lost the plot this season. Ledley and him have about the same pace, in other words none.

Of our other midfielders, I've never been a fan of Cowie. A hard grafter, but just find him so anonymous on the pitch at this level.

I'd prefer Ledley to both (just), but otherwise when you look at the options we have now in midfield with Eikrem and Daehli joining us adding to Mutch, Kim, Medel, Whitts, Noone, Bellamy and maybe Zaha, I doubt very much that that Ledley would be a priority.

If we need to balance the books then like Hilts says, getting rid of a couple like Gunnar and Cowie to cover his wages could be an option, but as for him walking into the side, I doubt it.

Would prefer someone with more pace and aggression like young Colback or Bridcutt as an option to bring some bite into midfield. Both still young and unproven at this level and could step up. With Ledley, you know what you're getting, and that's not any great improvement on what we've got.

Hoolahan is brilliant. Would definitely take him.

Ledley NO NO NO NO!!!! Can't imagine playing Dunfermline week in week out will have made a Premier League player.

Wes Hoolahan is a midfielder. Do we need another one!

Besides, said he wants to go back to Aston Villa.
