A deserved win from what is reported. I think we could be next... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30390346
No one's a pushover Soop's, especially for us. MK Dons, Burton and Vauxhall Motors are sadly a few timely reminders. Well done to Sheffield United.
They will turn our reserve team over...and i dont care. Staying up is the priority riht now and if we get an injury to any key personell in this nothing game, then i'll be mightily pissed off !
I would say that they will be favourites against us. Our likely lineup: Murphy Ned, Ehmer, Clint, Traore SWP, Barton, Mutch, Phillips He who can't be named, A N Other Any other suggestions welcomed.....
I'm sure on a Blades forum somewhere there's a thread titled "Anyone think QPR will be a pushover?" to which the response is a resounding yes. I don't care about the cup if our form either side of it is good but, considering how many players are short of confidence, there must be a good team (on paper/in scrabble terms) that we can field. I'd swap it all for an away win this side of Christmas.
........and of course Port Vale!
I think this is a critical game because its my next "Redknapp Death Watch' benchmark. In 2011-12 we sacked Warnock after drawing with MK Dons in this round of the cup. We were in 17th place on 17 points, with a much weaker (on paper) and cheaper squad. What will Redknapp's fate be if we are in the same position this season.......only 3 points off, but then again....... For what it's worth 0-0 draw at LR, lose the replay in Sheff.
I think Tf is gonna stick with him all season mate. After all the Pr he did about not sacking him it would just make him look stupid and prove the others he spoke about, to be correct.. Rightly or wrongly Stan, I just cant see him doing it. Still , you can dream on if you wish..
I have absolutely no doubt that you are right Queens, but it's one of the few fantasies that I have that I can share with others.......
