Tonight is the World Cup debut of our very own (currently) World Class goalkeeper. I hope he performs to the standard we see every week in the PL and I would like to see B/H progress in the competition. I will probably record the game or may watch the first half. Will any Stokies be staying up to watch him?
Problem is PP, if he plays like he does for us in front of 2.5 billion people, that may just signal his departure from us. Real Madrid's keeper had a nightmare for Spain...just thinking the unthinkable
It's going to be sooner rather than later methinks. He is world class and I hipe he proves it. At least it will add another £10 million to his price !!
How did he play? I saw the final score was 2-1 A good score for a debut in the world cup, especially against Argentina!
I watched until it was 2-0 and then went to bed. Bego did okay for me. Unfortunately I missed the interview before which I understand was quite emotional about the whole of the team. I thought it was a great effort by Bosnia and think they will get to the second round.
