Hopefully it doesn't happen. The league is stupid enough with Man City and Chelsea. There will soon be no point in it - honest competition a distant memory. No more super wealth, buy it all clubs wanted.

There is no point already its not about
Your teams stature nor its history
But the luck of the draw as in who buys your club.
Rangers, Leeds and Pompeys owners killed their clubs while fat mike has put us in a long draw out coma which will end in tears

On the other scale you have city
And chelsea who just buy success
The chap who bought man city could have bought someone like Wigan
And it would be them setting the world on fire.

The problem is that in 10-15 years every premier league club will be owned by a multi billionaire but three clubs will still have to go down.

    What then?

Relegation will mean unavoidable administration as you can no longer afford to pay your squad players £400k a week. The Championship will be full of clubs going bust when they don't get promoted, chasing the £200m a year TV money. The number of clubs forced to turn semi pro after being dropped by their sponsors will increase until we can no longer have four/five fully pro leagues.

To 'solve this problem', the SkyPL will become a closed shop to protect investments and everything below the Top20 will be governed separately. Regional leagues with much less money and talent but more local support.
