A number of clubs are tracking Liverpool midfielder Yalany Baio, Sky Sports understands. The 19-year-old joined the Reds from Benfica in 2011, and is well thought of at Melwood. The tough-tackling midfielder is being monitored by a number of clubs in England, whilst there is also interest from Holland and France in the Guinea-Bissau-born star. Baio, who is out-of-contract at Anfield at the end of the season, could move out on loan. Lee Payne of Full Contact told Sky Sports: "Yalany is a talented player, and has a great presence that would be welcome in any dressing room. "He remains contracted to Liverpool for the time being, but in all probability may be moving on soon or in the summer. "If that is the case, we will be looking for the right club for him, where his style of play as a tough-tackling, vocal, holding midfielder will be best served." http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9173765/ ------------ "tough-tackling, vocal, holding midfielder " Isnt that what we've been needing? Anyone seen him? Why havent we seen him near the first team?
yeah but its still only u21 and frankly you could be describing spearing. in the end lets give the management team the benefit of the doubt that they have got this right. no contract is something that could be anything... he could have refused small money i dunno seen him a few times in reserves but more recently its rossiter and the like who's impressing.
who is the last u21 that we let go who turned out to be a star? The only player I can think of is Ince and he turned out to be average + he wanted to leave
anyone know how leto got on? isnt he the one we couldn't get a work permit for. although hardly a **** up if we couldn't get a permit, but was it a missed opportunity, or not good enough?
